Serena makes a good comeback result


Serena Williams makes a comeback with encouraging results, she gets as a victory over the Bulgarian tennis player, Tsvetana Pironkova, in Eastbourne, on Tuesday ( 14/6/11 ).  After a long break due to injury and suffered health problems after embracing Wimbledon title last year, this 29-year -old struggled to beat Pironkova with rubber sets 1-6, 6-3, 6-4, to advance to the second round.

Williams started the game badly, so Pironkova, Wimbledon semi-finalist last year, won with a score of prominent 6-1.  But in the next two sets, Williams tried to appear more calm and slowly find a better game shape, so that got rid of the 23-year -old player.

" She's an exceptional player, she beat Venus at Wimbledon last year and when I saw the draw, I thought Oh my God, " said Williams, who received a wildcard facility to take part in this Wimbledon warm up tournament.




" I started with a little bad, but I enjoy a moment of returning to grass. I 'll get into now and see how I feel, "added the player who successfully grabbed 13 grand slam titles this.

In other matches, former world number one Ana Ivanovic, winning straight sets 6-4, 6-3 victory over Germany tennis player Julia Goerges.  Furthermore, the beauty of this Serbian with Venus Williams will meet on Wednesday ( 15/6/11 ).  Fourth seed from Italy, Francesca Schiavone, also qualified after winning 7-6, 6-1 win over Kaia Kanepi.
